Why do I want to be an Art Educator?

I want to be an art educator because I have always enjoyed making art and working with children. I worked in an after school program in high school and during community college however, once I moved I felt like I was missing something. I then realized how much I enjoy working with children. I want to become an art teacher because I would be incorporating the two things that I love the most. I hope to become an elementary art teacher someday.
